Boozy Hot Chocolate Flights Are Coming to PEI This Month

The Hot Chocolate Trail PEI is returning for the season, and this year, one stop on the trail is turning things up a notch with Hot Chocolate Cocktail Flights.

Deep Roots Distillery in Warren Grove, PEI is launching three boozy hot chocolate cocktails served as a flight, and each one looks like a literal winter dessert in a glass.

Think: cozy Christmas vibes, twinkle lights, whipped cream, maple drizzle, caramel candy rims, and cookies on top.
(We’re not drooling, you’re drooling.)

☕ What’s in the Hot Chocolate Cocktail Flights?

Each flight includes three different cocktail creations, and every one is themed for maximum holiday vibes:

🍎 Spiced Caramel Apple (the warm hug)

  • Hot mulled cider
  • Spiced Apple Liqueur
  • Candied caramel rim
  • Dried apple slice on top

Imagine an apple cider and a caramel hot chocolate had a baby.

🍁 Sugar Shack Cocoa (for maple lovers)

  • Creamy milk hot chocolate
  • Maple Cream
  • Whipped cream + maple syrup drizzle
  • Candied maple sugar nibs

This one tastes like a winter cabin in a cup.

🍪 Gingerbread Mocha (the cozy classic)

  • Rich hot chocolate
  • Coffee liqueur
  • Gingerbread syrup
  • Whipped cream
  • Cookie on top

Basically, Christmas.
